Hi! Iโm Sarah, a freelance UX designer currently living and working remotely in South Korea. I originally came to Korea while contracting for a U.S.-based company and successfully applied for the Digital Nomad (Workcation) Visa while already in Korea. I received it within just 3 weeks, without hiring a lawyer.
Since then, Iโve married a Korean national and switched to the F-6 spouse visa (yes, Iโve got insights on that process too if you need them!). Iโm still working remotely as a UX designer, and Iโm slowly but surely learning Korean along the way.
Professionally, Iโve designed for companies of all sizes, from startups and agencies to enterprise brands. One highlight: I helped redesign the website and mobile app for The Home Depot during my time on their UX team.
