City walk?
Come and join Flavor of Mind (Jon and Kangsil) for a fun and culture-filled Springtime walk through the heart of Seoul’s Jongno district. We’re curating a route that will include Dongdaemun Gate, Cheonggyecheon Stream, a quick snack at Gwangjang Market, and plenty of other stops. Be ready for local stories, unique ‘Seoul facts’, some great Spring season sites, and the chance to enjoy some relaxing city trekking and conversation with new pals. It’s gonna be a good time!
For lovers of outdoor walking, local history, and fun group dialogue/discussion... And yes, we'll be stopping for some renowned bites and beverages along the way (though please note, food/drink is not included in admission fee).

We’ll meet at 1:30 pm outside of Exit #7 of Dongdaemun Station (Line 1 & 4).

We’ll make a quick snack stop at Gwangjang Market earlier in our walk. Food/drink purchase is optional, and is not included with your admission fee. Also, feel free to bring a snack to share along our walk if you’d like!

Depending on timing, we’ll finish the walk close to either Euljiro 1-ga Station (Line 2) or Myeong-dong Station (Line 4)

Jon Coyle and Kangsil Ko, ‘Flavor of Mind’ is a freshly sauteed YouTube channel that explores the very delicious foods and dynamic neighborhoods of Seoul, combined with bits of Korean history, oddball humor, and the perspectives of an international couple with roots in both South Korea and the USA. Besides exploring the city and eating impressive amounts of funky cheonggukjang, Jon and Kangsil have recently been developing a new ‘Seoul Walking’ project, as well as a series of group events that will focus on having maximum fun and staying curious about South Korea’s capital city!
